Would have rated it higher if not for the taste of the chickenjoy which has changed from the time they opened initially a couple of years back, which was closer in taste to what it actually tastes back in the Philippines. Now, it tastes different, like a downgrade from the original. Been back a couple of times but no improvement of the taste of the chicken. Hope they bring back the quality of the taste back to how it should be.
Husband of a Filipino nurse, shocker am I right? She insisted we stop here on our 24 hour drive from Minnesota to Saskatoon. She was transported back to her youth up on arriving here and was overjoyed by the food! I also thought it was very good. The spicey chicken sandwich I tried here may be one of the best I've ever had! She WAS however bummed out by no offering of Halo-Halo
My review is based solely on my DoorDash order as I did not visit the restaurant. My food arrive HOT and sealed (which was great). I opted to the spicy chicken and mashed potatoes and boy was it spicy! I absolutely loved the gravy to dip it in and the mashed potatoes were perfect! After a long 9 hour drive this is exactly what I needed to end the day. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely enjoy another meal!
After two reviews from my colleagues, I had to try it out myself. And based on their recommendation, this was what I ordered; Spicy chicken with rice, peach mango pie and pineapple juice. Unfortunately, they lied. It was way better than how they described it. I had no diminishing return on the chicken. It dealt with my cravings..the hot peach mango pie was stunning with every bite. The pineapple juice, tastes just like heaven. The location is just off the highway and it's with free parking. #Wheelchair accessible, with priority sitting as well. Washrooms also is made ♿️ accessible. It was neat and temperature ok for perfect dinning in. My order was about $17 and I had a good fill.
