On my last visit to Albero Bistro I wasn't too impressed with what was ordered but I felt like they deserved another try. I figured I'd pick an item off their "specials" menu because I assumed those were the more higher end dishes they serve. The Braised Beef Ravioli sounded like something I'd enjoy. It was on the pricier end for a lot of the items. For the portion size of the dish, it didn't seem like a good value, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy what I ordered. It came with a mushroom rosa sauce that was abundant with different flavors, but they were subtle at the same time. The ravioli was cooked well and you could tell they weren't put together in a factory. The actual beef in it you could taste was braised and had a little natural flavor. Fresh grated parmesan was sprinkled on top along with some that was shaved. You can tell it was right off the block. If you've seen the price of parmesan cheese lately, you have to appreciate any amount they put in there. And the basil was like magic happening in my mouth. I'd have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to Albero Bistro, and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a casual Italian style restaurant in NE Wichita.
How many stars would you give Albero Bistro ?
Super cool place! Lots of servers who were all very pleasant! Tons of menu options! The Italian Sausage sandwich was fantastic!! We will definitely be back!
Had great experience both times we were here. We loved the Arancini. I had the Italian Sausage sandwich the second visit and it was delicious. The chips were tasty as well. The owner checked on us both times. Good selection of wine at a very reasonable price.
