Tried DIAKON Cafe for the first time and had the spicy kimchi welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the place feel relaxed rather than rushed. As I was getting ready to leave, a group was setting up to play Dungeons & Dragons, which really added to the café’s charm and community vibe. Only small tip: expect to ask for extra water—the soup isn’t just (good-way) spicy, it’s hot-hot. Already planning to come back with a friend to try the hot pots for two—they looked delicious. Highly recommend!
How many stars would you give Little Vietnam Kitchen ?
We live out of town but Daikon Cafe is a must visit when we are in Wichita. Their staff is so friendly and their service is incredible. They're so warm and generous. And their food...oh my gosh, I swear I DREAM about their curry broth! Love this cafe and hope to be able to continue to visit whenever we're in town in the future! 💜
We came here for my husband birthday last night and OH. MY. GOD. The food is so mind blowingly flavorful. I had the coconut curry hot pot since I'm a vegetarian and I am already planning to go back this week. Apparently the Vietnamese mom starts each broth early in the morning and let them cook all day to build flavor which is also why they don't open until 4, because she won't serve the broths until they are perfect and it takes until 4. Then we also got to try the mango sticky rice. Dude. As good as the meal was, the sticky rice was equally amazing. It warmed something in my soul that has been dead for awhile. You will not regret coming to this place.
I ordered spring rolls and crab Rangoon and I got spring rolls and egg rolls. I asked for no peanut sauce and I got peanut sauce. It's a new place for me. But what I did receive was extremely well prepared and it tasted absolutely amazing but order before you leave
