I wanted to try a restaurant close to home so Jackie Chan Sushi came to mind. Business is always slow there which is kinda sad because they are good people and the food is always on point. Today I ordered the Beef Teppanyaki with Miso Soup on the side. I put the picture of the soup in the comments because I wanted to highlight the main entree. I was honestly impressed with everything. I just wish the Teppanyaki had a little more sauce in it. I think all they used was something soy sauce based to toss it in which really did have a good flavor. There was a little heat to the dish. Probably just black pepper, which is basic, but the flavors really all came together. The Miso Soup was also decent. It had some seaweed in the bottom which really added to it, and made the soup more enjoyable. It's been a year and a half since the last time I ate at Jackie Chan Sushi, and I really need to come more often.
How many stars would you give Jacky Chan Sushi ?
Amazing. I bit into the Inari Avocado Boat and it was beyond delicious. Haven’t had something that yummy in months, wow. The fried rice is ACTUALLY fried rice with chopped toppings and fresh egg. So delicious. The vegetable tempura, great deal and awesome quality. Open until 3am Thur-Sat. Great prices. That huge pile of rice for $10. When I’d get a much sadder version at any hole in the wall and it would be a pint and at least $6-8. Jacky Chan, you’re my new spot. The staff are very nice!
Love this place, we go pretty often. Fried rice and rangoons are great especially! Last three times they have been giving out containers of duck sauce that has a comically small amount of sauce, like not even half of the bottom is covered. So definitely ask for extras.
Ginger was in every box like requested and food was made fast
