My wife and I have frequented Pasjoli numerous times, and with each visit, our appreciation for this gem in Santa Monica only grows stronger. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a stunning ambiance that perfectly blends elegance with warmth. The hospitality at Pasjoli is truly exceptional; every detail is thoughtfully attended to, from discreetly refilling our wine glasses to seamlessly clearing our table between courses. It's evident that the staff takes immense pride in providing a memorable dining experience. Speaking of unforgettable experiences, the Tuna and Tomato dish at Pasjoli is nothing short of heavenly. The flavors and textures are perfectly balanced, leaving us dreaming about it long after we leave. If you have the chance, do not miss the Loup de Mer if it graces the menu. The lobster velouté accompanying it is remarkably silky and bursting with flavor. And let's talk about desserts—the chocolate soufflé at Pasjoli is a masterpiece. Paired with cocoa nib ice cream that complements it flawlessly, it's the ideal conclusion to an exquisite meal. In summary, Pasjoli is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that keeps us eagerly looking forward to our next visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving exceptional cuisine, Pasjoli consistently delivers excellence that is hard to match. Highly recommended!
How many stars would you give pasjoli ?
Me a girlfriend whom I had not connected with in years, she suggested this spot since she is working her way through the top 101 LA restaurants by the LA times. Beautiful restaurant inside. The service was absolutely delightful. Unfortunately I don’t remember their names but an awesome team who spoke highly of the experience working and eating there. The highlights of The meal for me was the veal and the chocolate soufflé. You guys………. We were gonna skip dessert, I’m not a soufflé fan, it’s always so eggy…. But we were like “when in Rome” and so we ordered it. Shut my judgmental mouth. It was so decadent and rich, velvety texture and knives outta the park by the ice cream and candied almonds.
Our first night in Santa Monica and we had a lovely dinner at Pasjoli. The service that Hailey provided was so warm, authentic and professional. The food was wonderful. We loved the salad, gourges. The main entrees were prepared with a great balance of flavor yet beautifully platted, the cocktails were one of a kind as well.
A sleek French spot! I came with a girlfriend and we split a bottle of wine and a few dishes. The food was super rich but flavorful. I enjoyed the pastries stuffed with cheese and the sea bass. Both were cooked excellent and I would order again. The waitress was super sweet and knowledgeable. Overall we had a great experience!
The interior of this place is quite attractive and it's got a very good menu if you're into very classic French food, and aren't afraid of everything being very rich and buttery. I found the appetisers and hors d'oeuvres better than the mains, which were pretty heavy. The tartare, dauphinois and chicken liver was exceptional. A nice meal marred slightly by the service which was a but uncomfortable. The relentless upsell was a bit much.
