The soup is delicious and the rice noodles have a good texture. My daughter loves their fried spring rolls, and the portions are plenty!
How many stars would you give Quan Ngon ?
Fresh herbs, exceptional peanut sauce. Only rice vermicelli bowl in the city that I haven’t been disappointed with.
Delicious pho experience. I haven't had a bowl of pho like this before and it was really enjoyable. I really liked the chunks of ginger and the generous amounts of cilantro and green onions. Broth was light and full of umami and not too sweet. Salad rolls were refreshing as well. What really intrigued me was the laminated ordering sheet and dry erase marker and the cup of hot water served with my utensils in it. Genius way of obtaining customer orders, simple yet effective. Utensils in the hot water remind me of Hong Kong on how its citizens have a practice of cleaning their utensils with hot water or tea at the table. This brought back good memories and I was happy to see this practice being used closer to home. Service was quick, efficient and very friendly. Next time I'm back in Regina, I'm coming here first thing before checking into my hotel.
June 2024 - Had an off experience when ordering via Ubereats earlier this week. The manager reached out via Instagram and offered to make things right. Food looked much better this time around especially the pho. Management cares about constructive feedback. Thanks, you’ve won be back. :) ———- Best pho in all of Saskatchewan. Their pho sate and bunbohue are so good! Portions are generous and they don’t skimp on anything from the meat to the garnishes! Don’t forget to get a Vietnamese ice coffee, or lime soda to go with your meal. I came to Regina for one week to visit my mom and we ate here twice because it was so good! Also. since management seems to be actively reading and responding to reviews, my only suggestion to them is to please use rice paper wrappers for your spring rolls instead of the wheat based ones. Your filling is excellent but I like the crispier and slightly chewy on the inside texture of rice paper wraps much more. It’s also what most diners in Regina have come to expect from Vietnamese restaurants. I would order the noodles + spring roll + drink combo every time if this change were made.
Came in on a Friday night, place was very busy and waited a few minutes while the server cleaned a table. There were many people picking up food. To me this is tell tale sign of a successful restaurant. I ordered the A5 Grilled Pork Salad Rolls and B5 Pho Sate Special Beef Noodle Soup spice level 5. Everything came together in a reasonable amount of time and food was great. Salad rolls were freshly made, soup was flavourful and piping hot. My only regret is that I was in town working and didn’t bring my wife! I’ll be back next time I’m in Regina. Highly recommended if you know Vietnamese foods.
Probably the best Vietnamese food in Regina! Solid vermicelli bowl, delicious fresh rolls, banh mi and iced coffee. Also great offering of combo deals. Thank you!
