I don't live in GP but I travel here for work and every day if I have the chance I will come in here for lunch or dinner. The price is great as most items are ~$15 with some being less and the food is just incredible! It's a small local restaurant that uses breads from local bakeries and it shows. Everything I've had is fantastic and I can't reccomend this place enough!

By far the best steak sandwich i have had in a long time. You definitely see the difference in quality and service vs many other sitdown restaurants. Keep it up.
I cannot lie to you... This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Grande Prairie. To preface this review. It's the One Year Anniversary of The Local Chef opening and they had a special menu on top of the regular incredible food. My friend and I wanted to go back to one of our local favourite spots and when we heard this event was happening we had to go. The food we had this evening was among the best I have ever eaten and I have been around a ton of spots not only in GP but in Alberta, other parts of Canada, the US and Mexico. The Chef here is astonishing at his job and should be extremely proud of the quality of the food creates. The service was great even though it's a small spot they try their hardest to get everyone a seat as soon as possible so everyone can enjoy the great food. The atmosphere feels amazing. My friend put it best when he said it almost feels like you aren't even in Grande Prairie when you eat here (That's a compliment). Overall this is one of the best spots in GP that everyone should try at least once. Hopefully you'll all love it as much as I do!
- French Onion Soup - Beef Ribs on Spaghetti Bolognese Every ingredient they use is fresh. Nothing frozen at this restaurant. You can easily taste it. So much difference from other places. Kind and friendly staff. Awesome customer service. Food comes to your table real hot. Enjoy every bit of your moment in this restaurant. Definitely recommend!!!
Food was delicious and made to order so was very fresh. Everything order tasted great and there was a variety of options from different cuisine styles. Portions decent for Chicken Parm (18.99) and Spicy Chicken Burger (11.99). Samosa a bit small for $3 for 1 but had lots of flavour. Area inside is a bit tight and only a few seats - not ideal for any groups bigger than 4. Half the seating is meant for 2 people. Gets quite load as kitchen open to eating areas but you can see all your food being prepared so you know it's fresh made.
