I didnt expect something that big in such a small package... flavor and size...
It's a small cozy little place with the most amazing food! The buffalo chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese were the best in the city! It's a definate must if you've never tried it!
Ordered the electric Buffalo crunch with no pickles. My sandwich was full of pickles and didn’t have bacon on it like it said on the menu. The chicken itself was delicious but the waffle fries were just ok. I wanted to try it cause I heard it was really good but I’ll stick to my regular place cause they don’t get my order wrong and the fries are way better.
A little hard to find but worth the look. The chicken tenders were just that, juicy and tender, while still crispy. And they were very large. Will definitely go again and try some of the fantastic looking burgers.
I discovered Crunch Punch Chicken from a Reddit thread looking for the best chicken tenders in Regina, which set my expectations high. This ghost kitchen operates out of Wallnuts Catering & Cafe. Based on the recommendations, I was eager to try it out. My order included the Crunch Punch Mac & Cheese, my wife opted for the Tender Meal 3 Piece, and my daughter went for a custom poutine with added chicken, which is not usually on the menu, but the staff was accommodating. The service was prompt despite the crowd, with just a 10-minute wait. The atmosphere was basic - clean with simple seating, filled with a mix of dine-in patrons and takeaway customers. The first standout feature was the portion size; they were unexpectedly generous. My wife and daughter managed only half of their meals. As for me, I regrettably managed to finish my entire meal despite being incredibly full. Both the poutine and the Mac & Cheese were loaded with chicken, much more than one would expect, typically more generous than other places that add just a few pieces to their dishes. The tenders were notably large, too - my wife’s meal seemed like each tender was likely half a chicken breast in size. The food was undeniably delicious. Is it the best in the city? Not quite. But did it meet my already high expectations? Absolutely. By my rating criteria, Crunch Punch earns a solid 4 stars for being ‘Very Good’ and exceeding what’s typically expected. I’m more than happy to recommend it as a great local alternative to the usual big names like KFC or Popeyes. I’m eager for a repeat visit, possibly dining in next time, and hopefully find a reason to bump this to a five-star review.
