nitially, when we visited Ricky's, the service was poor and the food was unappealing. Even the salad wasn't fresh, and the avocado they served was spoiled. However, since the new co-owner took over, I've noticed significant improvements. We celebrated our Christmas party there last year, and everything went smoothly, with the servers providing excellent service. Just last Sunday, we had breakfast, and everything was great, especially the friendly and approachable server. I highly recommend this family restaurant.

With the new operation of management I have seen a lot of improvements with food and especially with service. The place is more welcoming and open for suggestions. With everything now getting more expensive, I find their deals for breakfast and their seniors’ deals are really affordable. Looking forward for more improvements and good changes. We had our christmas party held there just recently. The food was chef's kiss! I kid you not! The people who served us was super friendly and very accomodating! They took care of everything that we need. I forgot his name at the bar, but he was the best! Super friendly and attentive. The owners were also there to make sure we had a good time. Thank so much! We will be back for the food and the service!

Had an awesome family breakfast. The waitor was very attentive to our table and made sure we had everything we needed. I asked for fried peppers and onions on the side of my eggs, Benny, and it was delicious. My daughter ordered the strawberry pancakes, it was very good. Definitely going back again.

Food and portion sizes were amazing, service was quick and super friendly. As a travelling worker, I have eaten at numerous Ricky's throughout western Canada, and this one was by far the BEST!! The food preparation and portions clearly displayed the cooks take some serious pride in their work, and the service prompt and friendly and attentive. I feel like the majority of the poor reviews on here stem from people coming at peak rush hours and still expecting 5 star service. If attending during hours of peak demand, one must be willing to make concessions on service and quality. I was definitely impressed on all fronts with this location, and will definitely return and recommend!
